Hasta la reunion siembre!
The artist Michalis Rapanakis was asked to produce a version of Selene's Horse in the same style as the classic Che icon to symbolise the passion and the desire to reunite the Parthenon Sculptures in Athens.
The following two images were given to the artist in order to produce a new image for Selene's Horse made in the same style as the well known image of Ernesto Che Guevara.

After a few days, the artist produced the following as a first attempt. It looked very promising yet a version that had a white background throughout was needed. This was necessary so that the image could be easily placed on a coloured background.

After a few more days Michalis produced a new image. This could have been the base for our Che. After some consideration and planning for the final image it proved to be the case...

So, Michalis' piece of art was scanned and the raster image was then converted to a vectored image. This would allow the image to be easily manipulated and used in any scale. Also, the style could almost match the style of Che's well known image. After several iterations working with the vectoring program and in designing the mane the following image was produced.

Now it is a mater of taste to change the background to any desirable colour. Here in the traditional red...

...and here in a few other colour
