Rhynchophorus Ferrugineus aka Red Beetle

The palm trees of Athens are dy­ing. Not all of them but a good num­ber of them. The cul­prit is a rather nice look­ing in­sect go­ing by the sci­en­tif­ic name Rhyn­chopho­rus Fer­rugineus or more com­mon­ly known as the Red Bee­tle. ›
