Another Jonathan

During a dark evening in my late teens or early 20s some friends and I were having a beer and a gyros at the seafront of Thessaloniki. Tens of seagulls were flying over the gulf of Thermaikos. On a silent moment, while we were all enjoying the delicacies, one of our friends "greeted" the seagulls with a rather melancholic...

- Γειά σου Ιωνάθαν! (Hello Jonathan!)

Some of us didn't catch the reference so our friend begun telling us the story. The story led to the little book and a fuller introduction to the flights of JLS.

The photograph shown here was taken in the same place but almost two decades after that evening when we were enjoying the evening with a beer and a gyros. A lucky shot, a great memory.
